What Makes DMA Cheats Undetected?
With a regular PC menu, the game and cheat software run on the same computer. DMA works differently. You play on your main gaming PC, while a second PC runs the menu and handles the cheat software.
That separation is the whole point of a DMA setup. Your gaming PC is focused on running the game. The second PC handles the menu, using a DMA card to access information from the gaming PC’s memory.
Why use a second PC?
The second PC gives the menu somewhere else to run. Instead of opening and operating the cheat software on the PC you’re playing on, you manage it from a separate machine.
For players familiar with regular menus, that’s the biggest change. You still play the game on your main PC, but the software side of the setup is handled by the second PC.
What makes DMA different from a regular menu?
A regular menu and a DMA setup may offer similar in-game features, but they don’t operate the same way. The difference is where the menu runs and how it gets game information.
That’s what people are talking about when they call DMA an undetected setup: the menu isn’t running alongside the game on the gaming PC. The game stays on one machine, while the menu runs on the other.
